I love this teapot's color--red! It is always a nice 'talking point' for guests when they see it perched on our stove. It is pretty, high quality and not some cheap, thin stainless steel that would bend easily if accidentally dropped. The Viking Stainless Steel 2.6 Quart Whistling Tea Kettles feature a 3-Ply base for even heat distribution that results in faster boiling. The elegant look includes a cast stainless steel handle that is riveted onto the pot for a lifetime of security and a comfortable grip while pouring and filling. The Viking Kettle is the perfect stove top accent for any kitchen and works on all stovetops, including induction. Featuring a classic design, these tea kettles bring a timeless look to any stovetop. The kettle body and spout are built with 18/8 stainless steel that is non-reactive and easy to maintain. Because the kettle is surgical grade stainless steel, it won’t impart metallic flavor into your water so you can enjoy the full-bodied flavor of your coffee, tea, instant soups and more. A thick aluminum core embedded in the stainless steel base heats evenly, allowing water to reach the boiling point more quickly than traditional kettles. The magnetic stainless steel base works on all cooktops, including induction. The Viking kettles include a glass lid that offers visibility into the heating progress for anyone that wants to debate whether or not a watched pot boils faster. Being able to see the progress of the water as it nears a boil also allows you to turn off the heat when you want to enjoy beverage that benefits from a temperature that is just off-a-boil. The levered one-touch spout includes a heat-resistant silicone cover and can be open and closed with a thumb or single finger. The spout's melodic whistle alerts you to when your water is ready to serve. Depending on how much water is in the kettle and how long it’s been boiling, heat may transfer to the handle, especially with gas stoves. Please be sure the lid is tightly seated in place before heating. Gas stoves heat more of the kettle itself, allowing the heat to travel through the body of the kettle into the handle much quicker, eventually becoming too warm to grip without protection. We always recommend using a hot pad or other protection when lifting a hot kettle until you know how it responds on your particular stovetop. This is so pretty! I’m doing a kitchen refresh and decided this would look great on the stovetop between the green cabinets with the off white tiles (not yet installed). The whistle is annoyingly loud, so you will hear it no matter where you are. You do have to flip the spout cover up independently of the handle I don’t mind, but you might. The kettle comes with a cover for the handle-you will appreciate it…the handle gets very hot.. Darcy. Chico, CA. Mon Aug 31 2026

Make tea for your entire family with this 3.2 Quart kettle! The loud whistle allows to hear it from another room when the water is boiled. The combination of high-quality silicone material and stainless steel effectively insulates and avoids being scalded!

Resto products are manufactured from 18/10 stainless steel with an applied 3-layer bottom of 4 mm thick. This is the perfect starter series from Demeyere, quality without frills. Fans of traditional cookware will love the whistling kettle from the Specialties series. The kettle can hold 2.5 quarts and is made out of high-quality materials: stainless steel and aluminum.
