I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick. I have both and find that ceramic non-stick just doesn't offer the same non-stick performance. So I will keep using this as long as I can.. Julie. CA. Wed May 27 2026

The 14" Skillet with Helper Handle is an easy choice for browning and frying large batches of food because it's induction ready and boasts measurement markings for ease of use. The helper handle also makes it easy to transport a skillet loaded with delicious food.

I was looking for a pan to roast whole tomatoes primarily, and fry other foods in general. My wife already has 10 and 11 inch pans, but when cooking large amounts they can sometimes be a bit too small. Also, our old pans are showing their age, with the bases no longer entirely flat. So I wanted something over 12 inches. I also wanted genuine stainless steel for longevity and, based on our experience with other pots we have I wanted the Tri-Ply base. Full-clad Tri-Ply pans are available, but we have no experience with them and the cost is high. Wayfair was the only store in which I saw this big 14 inch pan and their free shipping to Miami was a plus since it would be freight forwarded down to the Caribbean and I have to pay import duties. The lack of a cover wasn't a problem because as you can see from the photos my wife has a good glass cover that fit perfectly. The skillet was double boxed as shown, and there was no damage to the pan. As shown in the photos it is big, but sits comfortably on the GE gas stove. My wife fried a pot of Caraili (bitter gourd) on medium heat on the GE power burner and it came out great. Yes, the handle does extend quite a bit, but our stove area was designed with extra space to allow sweeping and mopping without having to move the stove, so this isn't an issue. The handle itself is a bit narrow, and I think the pan would have been better off with two of the square handles instead of this long one. I've given it a 5-star rating up to this point. We haven't gotten around to roasting a pan full of whole tomatoes for ~30 minutes. That will be the real test, especially the cleanup part of the job, because that's where all our non-stick pans have faltered in the past.. Anonymous. Fri Jul 10 2026

Experience even heat and exceptional release with Viking Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware. Constructed with heavy gauge anodized aluminum for durability and even heat distribution throughout the sides and bottom of the pan, Viking Hard Anodized Cookware features a stainless-steel base making it exceptionally stable and compatible with most cooktops, however, it is not induction capable. Accepted worldwide as one of the most conductive metals for cooking, the aluminum is strengthened through the anodizing process until it is twice as hard as stainless steel, giving you durability without giving up conductivity. Featuring a titanium infused Triple-layer nonstick for superior release, durability and longevity, even when using metal utensils. The multi-layer coating improves release and protection even if the top layer is scratched over time. The fry pans feature flared rims for easy tossing and drip-free pouring. Viking Hard Anodized Cookware can be used on most cooktops, in the oven, or on the grill up to 500°F, making it perfect for finishing dishes the same way a professional chef does. Viking Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware is dishwasher safe, but we recommend hand washing to extend the life of the nonstick and to keep your cookware looking new. Viking Hard Anodized Nonstick Cookware is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. This 15-piece Calphalon cutlery set offers a selection of essential knives for chopping, dicing, slicing, and more. The bolstered, stainless steel blades stay sharp for a lifetime, due to SharpIN technology ceramic sharpeners built into the knife block.

I was hesitant on buying. Majority of knives rust so quick, I can’t say if these do or not. But for the last several months I’ve used I clean and dry immediately. But what I can say is they they’re ultra sharp and stay that way after many uses. Gorgeous looking as well!. Dylan. Sun Jul 19 2026

I decided to send these back when I realized they are not really stay-cool handles. The fine print on the manufacturer's website essentially tells you to always use a pot holder. For this kind of money, and given the high quality of the non-stick finish, they should have put silicone on the handles for handling them.
