If you love crisp sheets like grandma had, choose these. Machine washed and dried with no issues. Came out of the dryer quite wrinkled but I dont use fabric softener either. I ironed the pillow cases for a better picture. The bottom sheet fits my 12 mattress perfectly and they dont come off while sleeping. I love these sheets. They look great and feel even better. After many washes, there is some fading/desaturation on the fitted sheet, but the flat sheet and pillowcases have not suffered this effect. This tighter percale weave produces a more durable fabric that is superior to sateen weaves. Percale never pills and stays smooth. Though thread count is important, how the fabric is woven is more important when it comes to how the sheets feel. Crisp and cool to the touch with a matte finish, the percale cottons are one of the best investments you can make in bedding.
