Easy to assemble. Because of our joint issues, it took about 3 full days; some folks said it took them 1/2 day. Everything was there - even screw drivers. One disappointment is that the clothes protrude from the front, and the hanging space for dresses is probably suitable for children or mini dresses, even with the higher hanger adjustment. I suppose it is the design of the Closet. I will have to continue to use the metalic dress closets for a while. This beats having someone come in and installing a ceiling to floor custom closet for $4-8K, which was my initial plan. For those who may hesitate because of assembling, we did it. However, if you are still hesitating to assemble, its worth having a handyman put together. It is made of compressed wood, but a little gentleness and it will go a long way.
