Love the sturdiness for my daughter’s room. However the staining on the lighter color almost makes it look dirty around certain edges, i’m not sure if that was intentional for a “driftwood color”. We saw the bed originally in the Atlanta showroom and did not notice the discoloration!. Katie. Mount Pleasant, SC. Sun Oct 04 2026

So pleased with this sweet queen head footboard! My guest room isn’t very big. But it is just the right size to make the statement I wanted!! The 2 guys were careful patient as I could choose box mattress or not. I chose not. Donna. Mandeville, LA. Tue Oct 06 2026

This spindle bed ships conveniently in one box and includes easy-to-read instructions, tools, and hardware for quick assembly—no box spring or bunkie board required.

Ok, giving this 4.5 stars for aesthetic and solid wood frame. HOWEVER, please be cautioned There were some dings and splintering that are fortunately hidden after assembly with one acception. The assembly itself self took 2.5 hrs with a couple sanity breaks. Each spindled piece has an item sticker that would be visible and thus needed removal. I ruined my nails and spent 10x as long removing stickers and the glue as I did putting the head and footboard together. After FINALLY getting this bed put together, I almost cried contemplating the labor intensive deconstruction that would be required to take it out of the room. This project is not for the faint of heart. It is, indeed, a project. I would not deduct stars as paying for assembly is an option. Also, an oversight on my part, but the bedframe will not house a mattress and box spring, only a mattress. My biggest frustration was the assembly, and second the blemishes on the frame. Of course I cannot handle breaking down to return for replacement pieces, but generally I would recommend if youre going for appearance.. Laurel. Ormond Beach, FL. Mon Aug 03 2026

Bed was well packaged, pieces and hardware were clearly marked. The (metric) wrench which was critical to assembly was badly bent and poorly made, even after straightening it assembly took close to 3 hours. Heads came off 4 of the screws used to hold the slats to the bed frame. Overall pleased with how it turned outLooks nice and feels very sturdy.. Melissa. Phoenix, AZ. Thu Oct 01 2026

The posts elevate a low ram's head-shaped headboard over side rails fitted with a rope detail simulating rope bedding supports used during the 18th century. During the period, ropes were tightened periodically as they stretched from use. Thus, the expression "sleep tight" was born. Bunkie board in lieu of traditional boxspring is recommended. This bed is beautiful, super tall, and sturdy! The only reason I’m rating it 4 stars is because the bed comes with a distressed texture that is not specified in the listing - nor can you see from the pics provided. Love the bed, just wish it was a smooth, cohesive texture without the sanded edges and dings. Overall great purchase!. Anna. Spindale, NC. Sat Jul 25 2026

This spindle bed has a distinctively vintage design, right at home in any main bedroom or guest room. It's thoughtfully crafted from solid wood, and comes in a variety of hues to fit your room's style and color scheme. Our favorite part is the combination of a spindle-style headboard and footboard, which are connected by a simple slat system. They both strike rectangular silhouettes with rounded edges for a welcoming feel overall.

Very solid frame. The biggest issue we had was not being aware that this bed needed a box frame. I assumed it came with slats to support the mattress, but was told that was not the case after contacting customer service about the issue. After having the frame for a month or so we have noticed a couple spots where the wood is splitting, but it's nothing that is deteriorating the sturdiness of the product. It is purely cosmetic, and nothing I am overly concerned about.. Alexandria. Reno, NV. Thu Jul 23 2026

The bed frame is lovely. I put it together by myself in about 2.5 hours. I did add extra slats because I worried that the spacing between them would be too far apart for my mattress. The color is SLIGHTLY warmer than pictured as others have said but it’s not like WARM. It’s been study so far and we love how it looks in our room. I would recommend it and if I had to I’d buy it again.. Samantha. Deer Park, WA. Tue Aug 04 2026

What a lovely bed! We have slept on it for the past few nights now, and it seems to be sturdy and of good quality. It holds our Avocado mattress and topper nicely, no box spring needed. I’ve actually slept much better these past few nights, and it seems to be because this bed sits lower to the floor than our previous platform bed. We’ve been wanting to switch to a post bed and this one fit the bill as it doesn’t have a rail at the footboard to accommodate our bed fan. Great purchase!. Kristie. Sheffield, AL. Tue Jul 28 2026
