I removed a star because this set was hard to put together with just one person even though I managed to do it over the course of a few days. TIP Make sure you connect the bars to frames 6 and 7 in the correct orientation or it won’t connect to the 8 frame correctly so don’t tighten the screws fully until you make sure thats correct, you can turn the bars to correct it if the screws are not tightened prematurely. The table is very sturdy and looks good. There is a seam in the center but I bought a short runner to cover it. Really happy with the product, seats seem sturdy also. This table set is an incredible value for the price. I just moved into a studio apartment and I wanted something counter height that could double as more prep space and a table, plus not take up too much space. The solid wood feels very sturdy, and the assembly was easy. The stools do wobble a little bit but they didn't before I screwed in the cross bars - I think they just need some adjustment or some self-leveling felt pads on the feet. If this were a more expensive set that would knock it down to 4 stars, but I'm factoring in value too - I'm willing to tinker a bit to save some money. The colour is maybe a bit cooler than pictured (rustic caramel) but goes well with my other furniture. Overall I'm incredibly happy with this purchase.. Chelsea. Colorado. Thu May 21 2026
