We really like the way it cooks salmon fillets using the Speed Cook technology -- a combination of upper halogen element, the lower element, convection and microwave. Pretty amazing. The nice exterior design looks good in our kitchen, right above a conventional Cafe wall oven. We purchased this oven to replace our previous (almost identical) 240V Advantium Custom Speed Cook oven. We appreciate most of the subtle display firmware/software improvements in the new VS1 design compared with the older NS1 model, which we replaced due to odd rebooting every few weeks. We loved the older model (other than the reboots) and appreciate the new one even more, except for the relatively loud alert sound when we open the door to check the temperature of something we are cooking. This oven was actually the only unit I could find that would fit in an existing custom 27 inch cabinet. To be honest I was worried the user interface was going to be awkward but I actually really like it. It works well for baking, keep warm, microwave cooking and defrosting. And it looks great. I love the look of this oven, a friend had this style for a medical condition and I was sold. I ordered the entire kitchen suite in stainless with the optional gold handles and it’s beautiful. We have had this double wall oven for about 4 months now. We are very happy with it. We have not tried the convection features but everything is working perfectly and the look is elegant and simple. The ovens seem to work well and so far temperatures seem accurate. My biggest issue is the racks - the slide-out racks are GREAT, but they do take up extra room. I wish there was a flat rack available. Also, you get 3 racks for 2 ovens - 2 slide-outs and 1 floor rack. That means that you really can't load up both ovens at the same time. I am planning on purchasing a second floor rack for the upper oven. I have used the proofing setting (works fine) and bake, of course, but none of the other options yet. Oven surface is easy to wipe clean. One feature I would love in the app is an indication of the current temp of the oven. It shows on the oven itself, but not on the app (when preheating).. Jkl_co. I love the new oven. My favorite feature is Alexa opening the door when my hands are full also preheating etc. I had trouble setting it up and out of the country support I believe Janice said it was a discontinued feature. We've only have had the oven a short time. One of our first uses was cooking beef stew in wine using Staub dutch Oven 26 . The dutch oven weighs 11 lbs by itself. The Cafe wall oven extension rack made adding ingredients during the cooking much easier. Like the wall paper and time display.
