We totally love the new hallway doors! They have replaced 1980s louver doors and make the entry now feel so contemporary and up-to-date. Yes, we relied on our local contractor to install them, as they needed to be trimmed to fit the existing height requirement. nice and stylish, i’m using to keep dog out of kitchen instead of using gates. easy to install one issue i have is having them swing and land even with eachother it’s really finicky. My return was a complete nightmare on the second pair I ordered by accidently hitting the wrong size that was beside the size I needed. It took me from 12/1224-1/2/25 to get FedEx to pick them up. For the price point, the door is great. It is MDF, so you need to be careful during install. My box did not come with instructions so I had to figure that out, but not a complicated install. The door looks nice and works well overall. One thing to note if you’re installing it in a frame with a traditional door stop built into the jamb, it may have trouble closing properly. Installation wasn’t too difficult, but make sure to read the instructions thoroughly before starting.
