This induction cooktop is amazing! I can boil water in under a minute, literally. I also love that it connects to my hood vent and turns the hood on/off automatically. Couldn’t more happy with the performance and tech. I do worry about the glass edges. I am not sure why the glass hovers about the countertop about 1/16”. I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. I searched forever for an affordable 6 burner gas stove top. Here it is. Upon first installation we had a few issues. 1st was the smell of gas. Had it checked and there was no leak it is the just the smell of the materials used to make it. It was very strong at first. Next issue was that the burners all were set at max power. We had to contact customer service to get a special tool to adjust the burner flames. So everything was burning even on its lowest setting which is another thing Im not crazy about. This is a great looking cooktop! We are just not sure about the knobs. There is a stainless steel ring around the knobs that is bigger than the know itself so food or grease can get between It will be interesting to try to clean. The cast iron pot rests are beautiful and well made. The aesthetic of this piece is great. Not 100% sure about performance. We have a gas smell the plumber has been out twice and says it is coming from the knobs. Wayfair is working with Zine and there is a one year warranty so I am certain we can resolve this.. Betsy. CO.
