I ordered two of these tables for the hi-fi stereo components in my music studio. Both tables took about 45 minutes to assemble, but these days I am slow and meticulous about putting furniture together. I've bought a lot of "put together" furniture from Wayfair over the years. In order to make things go a bit faster and save my fingers and hands, a few years back I invested in a hex bit set from one of the big box home improvement stores. Once everything is lined up and the screws/bolts are started and all the parts are loosely in place, I tighten them up with my drill driver with the torque setting on a low setting like 2 or 3. The tables look okay, although the seem to have a bit of an industrial quality to them. They are functional, but not very pretty. They work for me and you can see in the photos I've included. The reason I only gave them 4 out of 5 stars is the packaging. Everything seems to fall out as you pull out the large pieces. Overall, this is a very nice table. I could not give it five stars because of the difficulty in putting the 12 screws for the hinges in. Although the instructions do not indicate a drill is needed to start the holes and then a drill is also needed to screw in the screws. Because the wood is not prepared for the screws, doing it by hand is not possible. It is easy to put together other than that. Turn any table into a folding table with Kee folding post legs! Kee folding post legs come four to a set and can collapse while attached to a tabletop. Simply twist the leg to unlock it, fold it down, and twist in the opposite direction to lock it back into place. This table assembles in a snap with just a few screws. The table is constructed of a thermal fused melamine laminate tabletop that is 1 inch thick and finished with a black T-Mold edge band. I removed a star because this set was hard to put together with just one person even though I managed to do it over the course of a few days. TIP Make sure you connect the bars to frames 6 and 7 in the correct orientation or it won’t connect to the 8 frame correctly so don’t tighten the screws fully until you make sure thats correct, you can turn the bars to correct it if the screws are not tightened prematurely. The table is very sturdy and looks good. There is a seam in the center but I bought a short runner to cover it. Really happy with the product, seats seem sturdy also.
