[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my new GE Cafe dishwasher, model # CDT858P4VW2 that I recently purchased. The GE Cafe looks great in my kitchen matching the white color of my cabinets and the bronze handle matches my other appliance's handles and the hardware on my cabinets. The dishwasher is very quiet, and does an exceptional job in cleaning my dishes. When the dishwasher completes the wash, the dishes are dry, and the plastic containers are dry and not warped like they were in my old dishwasher. The third upper rack is great for the knives, kitchen utensils and spoon rests. The individual jets for glasses, bottles and mugs is a real winner for cleaning high protein liquids that most dishwashers cannot clean. This oven was actually the only unit I could find that would fit in an existing custom 27 inch cabinet. We really like the way it cooks salmon fillets using the Speed Cook technology -- a combination of upper halogen element, the lower element, convection and microwave. Pretty amazing. The nice exterior design looks good in our kitchen, right above a conventional Cafe wall oven. We purchased this oven to replace our previous (almost identical) 240V Advantium Custom Speed Cook oven. We appreciate most of the subtle display firmware/software improvements in the new VS1 design compared with the older NS1 model, which we replaced due to odd rebooting every few weeks. We loved the older model (other than the reboots) and appreciate the new one even more, except for the relatively loud alert sound when we open the door to check the temperature of something we are cooking.
