This is a very cute islandtable! The countertop itself is pretty heavy duty. The rest of the wood is somewhat lightweight. Overall,, assembly instructions are fairly easy to follow. The most challenging part of assembly is the final alignment of the counter top to the base and legs. The holes do not align perfect and you will need significant pressure on top to fit the top on to the base correctly. Additionally, there are no spare screws, so if you break one (likely), you will not have all of the necessary hardware to complete it with all of the screws as required.
