These stools are nicer in person. I was hesitant about the limed grey oak. In the picture, the limed stools look very distressed and antiqued but they are just right. They are light enough to move without effort but made well enough to hold up to everyday use. I do hope the seats hold up for a long time. They look great with my newly updated kitchen. They are the perfect "counter height". I am very happy with my purchase so far. They were much more than I wanted to pay for counter stools and I do hope they will last and be worth the price.. The seat is smaller than I anticipated. I fit snuggly but a large man may not fit or feel comfortable in them. Material was great. Color was great (this is the dark brown not the whiskey brown). Suede material so the cushions likely will be susceptible to stains. Praying we catch them before the toddlers wreck it. Installing was generally easy though we didn’t have any directions.
