Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are. I like these sheets a lot. I was skeptical when they were delivered and when I opened them. They felt quite scratchy. I was washed them and that did help.
