They do come with adjusters on the bottom of the legs. Putting them together was simple, but have to admit having a 2nd person help hold in place, while adding screws made the job go faster. Very nice outdoor dining chairs, especially for the price! Easy to assemble, no issues with misaligned holes or split wood. Chairs are already sanded smooth and finished, though I plan to throw an extra layer of protection on since I live in intense sun and heat. The cushion is firm and supportive, though a bit more creamy-yellow than I was expecting. I wasn't sure how the acacia wood would look with my eucalyptus table, but I'm happy with it.
