Nice quality piece of furniture. The granite top looks darker online, but like another customer stated, could be just the differences in the natural granite. Mine was more of a light cream colored. I purchased the kitchen island in the European Cherry, and it smells like it was just stained prior to it being shipped. It is beautiful and worth every penny! I am using it as a coffee station. What you don't see in these pictures, because I have this up against a wall, is that there is another set of cabinet doors on the other side so that you can get to the cabinet on either side of this kitchen island. This cart is just the right size for a small “kitchen island” it’s a landing spot when I’m pulling multiple items out of the refrigerator and a good place to set up drinks or plates and utensils when we are entertaining. We installed the wheels instead of the bun feet so we can move it out of the kitchen when needed. I’m using it to store cutting boards, baking pans and containers for leftovers. I’ve had lots of complements and friends wanting to know where I found it. It’s a pretty good match with the dark cherry cabinets. We like this cart but the granite top is not secured to the bottom half of the island. Also, the cabinet doors don't close properly so we've tried to adjust the hinges and one side is fine but we can't seem to get the other side to close without the doors rubbing each other. Love the color and storage. Took some effort to put it together but nothing extremely difficult. Everything works. I saw some reviews that said the drawer’s didn’t pull out far enough but I feel like they are sufficient. This came in very handy at our Easter dinner as a dessert buffet. Also the item is overpriced on way fair much cheaper elsewhere but unfortunately it wasn’t in stock right at this moment so my order was cancelled and I needed it ASAP so I had to pay more to get it as wayfair Had in stock.
