I did pick up some removable clear silicone corner protectors to use while the bed is extended as there are a couple of corners that look like they could catch an unsuspecting shin. The bed is beautiful. It folds up really nicely and does not look like a Murphy bed at all. Much better than the pics! However, the instructions say it takes two hours to build. Amazing value! We looked all around for one of these beds to fit into an extra office/guest room. This was about half the price of other furniture stores and it is a perfect addition to the room. Very happy with this purchase!! This took two of us roughly 2.5 house to assemble. Assembly was easy and straight forward if you go slow! There are zero written instructions so you really have to rely on the pictures, placement of the stickers on the boards and your patience’s to get to the finish line. The wood pattern was just as shown. Received four damaged pieces, (we had to build the bed with the damaged pieces due to company coming) and then take apart to replace damaged pieces.
