Well packaged, it was surrounded by styrofoam on all sides. It is shorter than what I expected, and will work better as seating than as a table. The color is true to the image on the website, a pink to orange-ish ombre. There is a noticeable seam that runs from the bottom to almost the top, I've turned it so that it isn't visible from the front.
