Purchased for myself during the Mother’s Day sale & I am SO glad I did! New features I love are: the bowl light-just a game changer! The half speed-the flour sifting attachment never looked so seductive & there is zero mess, even without the spatter cover. Speaking of which-I love how it now grips the bowl! It used to slide to the sides constantly & now you can hold the bowl upside down & it won’t come off. And the bowl! The handle is much more comfortable & sturdy, the brushed finish looks impressive & cleaner-the shiny silver showed every water mark & finger print. I was worried the stand mixer would be hard to clean in the Cast Iron finish but it’s just the opposite! My old Matte Black Artisan showed finger prints & oil much more easily! It doesn’t seem lighter than my regular Artisan was, & it’s still pretty loud all the way up, due to the more powerful motor.
