Overall pretty simple to put together…. Took me about 1.5 hours, but I put the towel bar and wheels on after the legs since my kitchen is tight on space and wasn’t sure they would work. Smaller hands make assembly a bit easier since some of the connections are in not easily assessable areas. The long and medium bolts are the same length! The Allyn wrench provided is too long, so used a smaller one I had that worked better for me. These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. This is perfect in terms of looks from a distance, though not the highest quality. I’ve had to touch up the color on a few places and it’s particle board, so not great. If you can afford a more expensive one, I would recommend spending more. But the higher quality ones didn’t deliver to my address, so I used the DIY method and assembled this with not too much difficulty. Best parts are the cupboards and drawers that open from both sides, and the real wood surface.
