These Hevea butcher block countertops were just what I wanted for my new office. They were well packaged and arrived without damage. A few coats of matte poly were easy to apply. Nice smooth edges too so no additional sanding needed. They were less than half the cost of what I could get through my local big box DIY store. Each table top is a natural reclaimed wood product, providing additional character with some variation in color and texture based on the raw material available. The reclaimed wood table tops come with a water-based urethane Matte finish to make them easy to clean and keep yourself free of pesky splinters. These table tops are not recommended for outdoor use.

Wear and tear are minimized on both cutlery and the board, giving more longevity to all your cutting tools. This multi-functional board serves as a prep station, cutting, and serving board to satisfy all your kitchen needs. Decorative functionality at its finest, it's what you deserve. This product is made from acacia wood from Thailand, a non-endangered species that is not harvested from rainforests. We plant a tree for every tree we use. After use, wash this product in warm soapy water and wipe excess water off with a dry towel. Never soak or leave water on the wood during drying as it may result in warping over time. Wood products should never be washed in the dishwasher. Rejuvenate and protect your board by rubbing it down with butcher block oil after each use. When the board is dry, apply the oil liberally and allow it to soak in thoroughly before use. Regular application of our butcher block oil will prevent cracking and preserve the rich natural colors of the wood. From time to time, the surface may become "Bumpy". This is completely natural as we leave all of our wood in its natural state with no varnishes or lacquers. You can simply use high grit sandpaper to smooth it out and oil it again to bring it back to the new!

I have two sizes of cutting boards 17x13 and 15x20 and they are on different sides of my kitchen counters and I do everything on them. It is much better than the plastic cutting board as you can see the plastic coming off the board as you cut your vegetables, meat or chicken on it. I was specifically looking for a 24” x 24” square table for my small apartment, and this worked perfectly for creating a small dining area. The top feels solid, and I paired it with a table base from another seller since this is just the tabletop. The finish wasn’t quite what I expected, but it’s still nice overall. Also worth noting that only one side is finished—the bottom is unfinished. Mine looks similar to the darker wood shown in the first two photos.
