These solar lights are good but if youre mounting them on a vinyl fence post you will have to improvise a way to mount them on a hollow post. It has no mounting adapters but has to be installed so you can access the switch and battery, so it cant be glued.. Anonymous. Thu Apr 23 2026

I like the way these lights look on my brick fence, they are not powerful at all, but provide a warm accent light, will hold the charge for about 6 hours. They are well made, however during shipping they got scratch (poor packaging), also 2 out of 4 lights I had to open the battery compartment as one of the battery leads came apart, though it was easy to fixreassemble. This set is beautiful, a perfect size for my space. It is as pictured. The cherry finish is not overly “ red”. Matches my cabinetry very well. Solid feeling set, chain/ gears for the expansion leaf. There was a small nick in table edge, should cover easily. There was a scratch , maybe just in the varnish, of the pedestal base, won’t easily be seen. The, “twist to lock” the components together should be stronger and more solid. The finial is made of plastic, two pieces snapped together. I learned this when the finial dropped and split in half.
