Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It can be used on its own or attached to cover a chain link fence for added beauty and privacy. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. I got this screening for privacy from human neighbors and animal neighbors. My dogs are easily riled up by people that cut through the yaranimals that pass through , as well. This gives me a better sense of privacy, while also blocking things from my dogs some, too. Its a fabric of types, so its understandable that it has some give and stretch. I am still just trying to figure out how to work with that, which is difficult and Im hoping will be better with some time upright. I got mine for taller fences than mine, because I also have animals trying to come under the fence, and I thought staking it down to the ground at the bottom might help with that. Time will tell on that front. It definitely blocks out most things, so thats a real plus and will be sure to benefit us.. Mandy. Illinois. Sat May 30 2026

Reed fences are inexpensive bamboo-like coverings for existing fences, walls, or screens. Reed fences are commonly used to cover chain link fences, deck railings, and more. Our exclusively designed reed fencing is a wonderful and natural addition to your home and garden. We use only clean polished reeds woven together with black nylon-coated wires that match perfectly with the color tone of the fence. Most other reed fences on the market are made with non-polished reed with husk. This fence is NOT opaque. You would need to double or triple it for total coverage. It is very light and thin but makes a great covering or accent for your home.

The bamboo looks pretty good. I wish it was a bit sturdier. I am using it to block a view, create some privacy.. Hope. Rochester, NY. Thu May 14 2026

Heather fences, also known as brushwood fences, are ideal for covering up the unwanted appearance of a chain-link fence, creating a privacy screen for your patio, creating a new fence mixed with wood, or in decorative ways throughout the interior of your house or yard. This heather fence is woven with a brown nylon-coated wire that will blend naturally into the fence. Heather fences or brushwood fences with this exclusive design are made from weaving thick bundles of natural dwarf pines together with a brown nylon-coated wire to prevent rust. Dwarf pine is fuzzy in texture and very dark and will eventually age to a rustic silver-grey color. They have a life span of between 6 to 8 years if properly installed. Brushwood heather fences can be installed between secured wooden posts which ideally should be 6-8 feet apart. Comes in a roll.

Make sure to get zip ties. Zip ties work the best and are easy to use. Also this is a fence/screen. It must be attached to posts. I attached one end to an existing wood privacy fence. I tied the other end to a tree. It gives just the right amount of privacy from nosey neighbors. . Eiru. Kirkwood, MO. Fri Sep 04 2020

I’m enamored with this natural reed fencing. Initially, I intended to install expensive shades, but I opted for these instead. They’re incredibly cost-effective. Whenever they begin to deteriorate, I’ll relocate them to the pollinator gardens during the colder months. This way, the bugs can safely hibernate and lay eggs within them. Meanwhile, my cats can enjoy the shade on their patio. I plan on doing this anytime I need to block the scorching sun.. Nancy. Chapin, SC. Thu Jul 30 2026
