I'm happy with the bunk bed. But my kids are ecstatic. They were celebrating it for like 30 minutes. And the best part is they sleep better now. Putting it together was as difficult as advertised and due to my fitness level, I was sore for days after. The instructions were thorough, though could have been better as some steps could be merged with later ones to make the construction easier to accomplish. And the slats portion could be improved significantly as some were shorter than others. Those steps also didn't convey that the position of each wasn't fixed. So I had to measure the bed frame and put marks down to ensure I did it evenly. I would have expected markings on the frame to indicate where the slats would go. We really like the look of this new bunk bed. Unfortunately we thought it was wood and not a metal bed but it really still looks quite nice. It is very sturdy and was actually quicker to assemble than the wooden beds. It has LED lights, cloth storage bins for drawers and a charging station on the small desktop. There is an awkward space between the desk and the bottom bed which I am guessing means you should use the bottom bed as the seat when you are at the desk but if that doesn’t work, you can always put a chair on the other side. Well made and easy to assemble. Not the most stable bunk bed we’ve ever owned, but it is enough for an older kidteen who won’t be jumping on it.
