My 10 year old has the top bunk and my 2 year old has the bottom.. while it is a beautiful bed, I will say that when my 10 year old at 110 pounds moves around you can definitely feel movement and wobbling from below, but there is a steel bar that runs underneath the top bunk that reassures me that it is secure. It took us a about 3 hours to build, just make sure that the headboard and footboard are in the right facing position bc we had to redo ours. I also will note that the headboard and footboard slats dont fit in snuggly and are wobbly. Pine wood is a softer wood and I am already aware of some dings and dents but am still happy that this is not an MDF product so should hope last still for some years. Overall, still a better price point than big box stores and the value is there for us and our family. Would recommend knowing that its not perfect but functional.. Kerisah. Matthews, NC. Looks just like the picture online once assembled, ended up being the perfect size and height for my son’s bedroom and for him to enjoy for years to come, feels sturdy, good quality material. Assembly company was pretty good the first person wasn’t quite able to complete the assembly, I called and someone came two days later and finished it up, was fine since we are still in the process of moving our things.
