Love these shelves. Great quality as everyone says. The problem I had was the assembly. I purchased the full assembly (taking out of boxes and fully assembly and removing boxes). Wayfair partners with Angi List and unfortunately the service was problematic. First they note this is a two person job and only one person came. They couldn’t help with anything because they didn’t bring a ladder or right tools. I ended up taking the shelves out of the boxes which took about 45 mins per box because you literally have to cut the shelves out if you keep them standing up. I also hauled away all the packaging. Then I rescheduled another contractor to anchor to wall and install the ladder. Again, only one person came without a ladder. He managed to use a stool I had to anchor things and helped drill an extra hole in shelf for ladder since I needed to rearrange shelves differently and the ladder rail wouldn’t fit. Overall it all came together nicely but did not appreciate leaving the assembly to a second party that was not reliable and there was no customer service to speak to, everything was AI and very frustrating. to. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. I was able to put it together by myself up until that point, then I needed a second set of hands. It holds a lot of items and is very sturdy. It’s a little off white so it doesn’t match my white walls exactly as I wanted but it is pretty! It has taken about 3-4 days to put together. Came in 3 large heavy boxes. You will need help putting this together and lifting it off the ground to set it upright. I wish the lights had a timer on them. It comes with remote with diff lighting effect options that really isn’t needed. I’m not living in a club setting where I need flashing lights lol. Works for me, but I would have been really upset if I had paid full price. Majority of the pieces had some sort of damage that could have been solved with better packing. The backing is pretty flimsy and has really visible creases that I couldn't smooth out. I covered the back with wallpaper bc I thought it was cute. The laminate is pretty thin and seems to be easily damaged. Overall satisfied with it, but I would have preferred something a bit more elevated. Just hard to find a good balance of price and value.. This is a 'big boy' entertainment center. Each of the 4 boxes arrived on different adjacent days, and are individually quite heavy. From 80 to 100lbs each. Packaging was so much better than I've ever experienced. The corners, where most damage happens, had solid rubber inserts. I had not one single piece damaged from corner drops. The flat sides, although slightly scuffed, arrived in great shape. I opted to have this built with one of Wayfair's assembly team. It took one guy, just less than 7 hours to put it together, place it in my desired location, and tidy everything up. Of course, the trash is mine to deal with, but my basement living room was returned to it's pre-assembly condition. Lots of wood screws (this is a good thing) rather than those 'post and spin' nuts. The LED lights work just fine without the need to download yet another app. Unit comes with 2 remotes, one for left 'dual' window side, and one for the right 'single' window side. It’s a little off white so it doesn’t match my white walls exactly as I wanted but it is pretty! It has taken about 3-4 days to put together. Came in 3 large heavy boxes. You will need help putting this together and lifting it off the ground to set it upright. I wish the lights had a timer on them. It comes with remote with diff lighting effect options that really isn’t needed. I’m not living in a club setting where I need flashing lights lol.
