I find this portafilter to be particularly useful for testing extractions on La Specialista machines. I have the touch model, and it works perfectly. I’m really happy with this espresso machine! I’ve been using it at home and honestly love it. It’s simple to use, heats up pretty quickly, and the coffee comes out really good with a nice crema on top. I also love the steam wand because I can froth my milk and make lattes at home. It took me a little practice to get the hang of it, but once I did, it was pretty easy. Another plus is how nice it looks on my counter. It has a clean, modern look without being too big or taking up a ton of space. It also feels sturdy and well made. So far, I have no complaints. I actually look forward to making my coffee in the morning now instead of buying it out. Well packaged - and all parts accounted for. Looks very sleek… touch screen. It’s a little big - the grinder is enough for a few cups of coffee. The milk frother is detached- you have to connect a tube to use it. I guess it’s a nice option if you don’t need it - easier for cleaning too. The electronic grind selector allows you to choose the perfect grind setting from coarse to medium to fine - indicated by 3 green lights. A quantity control knob allows you to grind 4-12 cups of coffee and shuts off automatically. It is easy to use with the on/off push-button control and the transparent lid and ground coffee container lets you easily view the ground coffee quantity.
