Gorgeous. Perfect size. Holds a lot. The shelves inside are adjustable in height. The cabinet doors are the soft closing mechanism. It was simple to put together. I did it myself in about an hour. It doesn’t take up too much space to make the room feel cluttered but it’s big enough to be an eye catching piece of furniture. Perfect media console! We needed a really wide, low profile, low key (in design) piece for under our 75” TV to hide all the AV equipment. The white of the console is a true white, similar to the baseboard shown (painted SW highly reflective white against a wall that’s SW alabaster). The back of the console is fully enclosed so we had holes cut to accommodate AV wires and add ventilation. Feels sturdy, fits the space perfectly, and delivery up to our second story went smoothly.. In a nutshell, I would buy this piece again. We bought this buffet table as entryway furniture to store our shoes, umbrellas, gloves, hats, sunglasses, etc. Our front door opens directly into our small living room, so we needed something that could help us to manage a lot of the things that could go in a hall closet as well as give us a surface to help with packages or groceries. This piece does that for us. It is just deep enough to hold our shoes and the drawers let us store our loose items. I ordered the blue color and it is much darker than I expected. At first I thought they sent the black model by mistake. One of the inner supports arrived cracked, but it turned out not to be a crucial piece. Also, as usual, the packaging was full of styrofoam and the wood was very dusty. I unpacked the box on my front porch and wiped everything down before bringing it in or it would have gotten blue dust all over everything. Assembly was alright, though the back pieces were the wrong size. It doesn't matter for us because that side is against a wall. We didn't like the drawer pulls, so we replaced them.. Anne. I ordered the cream color. What was great: solid and high quality construction, easy assembly, perfect design for my purposes, great delivery. What disappointed: definitely not a cream color. It was hard to capture with my cell phone, but the color is definitely darker than all the pictures online, and it is a decidedly GREEN color, although a very light green. It is also more distressed than the pictures, so it had a tad too much country vibe than I wanted. But, it fits my space and is functioning perfectly to my needs. It is definitely one of the highest quality pieces of furniture I've ever bought online. The drawer hardware is very high quality for an online furniture item. It came halfway assembled, and the drawers were all put together, which is always the hardest part. So I was able to put it together by myself in about 40 minutes. I am OBSESSED! We purchased two for under our television and they are gorgeous! Note they scratch easily but nothing you can’t fix with a sharpie. They are a pain to build the instructions are a little confusing- just make sure you know which direction will be the front and back of the unit before you assemble; we had to rebuild one of ours. The doors were pretty annoying to get aligned but I don’t think that is unique to this product. One of the six doors does not function with the push to close so we have to push back the lever manually when we want to close it but the door itself works.
