Inspired by our jaunts overseas where oil drums in varying stages of deterioration greeted us at every turn, we created our replicas of the discs carved from the tops (or bottoms) as edgy decorative elements. Though the patina we achieved a finish that may convince you that these are made of metal, the cast oil drum wall discs, which are packaged as 4 pieces, are made of composite that our artisans made to look jagged like real aging metal would. This circular wall art is the perfect representation of the Phillips Collection ethos: modern organic. Cast in resin from a rusted oil drum, each 4 pieces will be the same in size, style, and color. Our Étoile Wall Décor is a designer's dream. Carefully crafted from solid brass sheeting, the stars (an iconic Mid-Century motif) come in varying sizes with endless display possibilities. Arrange all twelve on one wall, or group them throughout the home.

I love them and would purchase again. We ended up modifying these because the mounting posts were too long. I smashed the stars so they were flatter and did not use the posts to install. We placed electrical tape around on back of stars where the post would have gone and mounted each to the screw bracket provided.
