It’s perfect for what I needed. I initially set out to find an aluminum model, but this one ended up being an excellent choice. It gets quite windy in my area, so I really appreciate the additional weight and stability. Assembly went fairly smoothly, although I did have to get a little creative when fitting some of the connectors that join the beams together (time waster for sure, better QA is needed). A good soft mallet definitely comes in handy for getting everything seated properly without damaging the parts. I was also missing one component when the package arrived, but the replacement was shipped within a couple of days. Fortunately, it wasn’t a part that prevented me from completing the assembly and there were no damaged parts. Overall, I’m very happy with the purchase and feel it was a great fit for my needs.. We purchased this 16x12 gazebo for our deck. Three boxes came one day and the last one the next day. No parts were missing, but there were some bolts that were mislabeled. We managed to figure out what they were. The only complaint we have is not with the product itself, but with the pricing. We purchased it during Victoria Day weekend, when it was their "Big" sale, so we figured we would get a good deal. We purchased it for $1999.99. A week later the price was $1699.99. We did contact them for a price adjustment, which they did honor after numerous phone calls and chats. Two weeks later it was even cheaper (Can't quite remember the price, but it was significant) They refused to refund us any further. They should have a 30-day price guarantee, so this doesn't happen. I’m not sure we could be happier with our gazebo. After spending time budgeting and planning a build-from-scratch project, this became clear to us that it was more affordable and frankly better looking. We love the size of the posts and the look of the metal roof. We are looking to add lights and fan(s) in the near future. Ours is a 15x13. We would consider ourselves very handy with tools and construction. It took four of us (two in our twenties and two in our forties) a three day weekend to put this together. The hardest part was the height of the roof and the reach needed to attach some screws. None of the work is challenging. It just requires some basic construction skills and teamwork (patience).. We have had a lot of rain so we just were now able to inventory everything. It was all there according to the parts list and all very well packaged. The corners of the panels were well protected. The curtains were tan although I hoped they would be blue like they were pictured but the description didn't say the color. They will still look beautiful. Very excited to put it up although it will still be a few weeks because we had hall damage to our house and the lithe gazebo we already have and that will need repaired our removed first.. Mara. We are very happy with this gazebo. The wood quality is very good, and the finished product looks beautiful and sturdy in our backyard. Assembly was easier than expected. Two people in the family were able to put it together without hiring outside workers. The instructions were clear, and the parts fit together well. I would recommend wearing gloves during assembly to help avoid scratches or small injuries, and having a ladder will definitely make the process easier. One thing I would suggest is adding an extra coat of wood stain or sealer if you want more protection. I did that for mine because I want it to last longer. Even without it, I think the wood feels durable, but if you live in a humid area or want extra long-term protection, adding a wood sealer is a good idea. One of my favorite things is simply sitting inside the gazebo in the early morning or late afternoon. The shade, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. Absolutely beautiful gazebo and we love it! We were pleasantly surprised that it is made with real wood—it gives it such a nice, high-quality look and feel. The only downside was the instructions. They can be confusing and definitely aren’t the clearest, so assembly took quite a bit of time. Just taking inventory of all the pieces across all three boxes took us over an hour! Overall, it took about three separate days to put together, spending roughly 5–6 hours each day. That said, this was assembled by one person, so I think that’s important to keep in mind. With two people, I imagine the process would go much faster. Once it’s up, though, it is SO worth it. The quality is really nice, it looks beautiful, and it has completely transformed our deck.
