This is the statement piece I was looking for to set off the front courtyard of our new home build! We’ve gotten so many compliments on it. This chandelier WILL send light upward - so I HAD to have this to hang over my 7’x7’ kitchen island that I’ll have built to 29”. it was important that I could hang this low enough and flood the tables top Island with light yet not have bright light in our faces when we stood up to linger. It was a bonus to learn the shade will funnel light upward onto my 12 foot ceiling. The Q&A “sold” me on this light. If I ever tire if this I will hang this under my covered porch since it is rated for “damp” location. I love this light. we have a horrible problem with sparrows making nests in our light fixtures. This one has an open bottom that is open in a way that birds cannot nest in it. Thank goodness! So this was a big purchase for us. I loved the light but it was over our budget. But there was nothing I could find that compared. So we got it. Unbelievably, the light was lost in transit. Wayfair was amazing in doing an investigation to find it. When it couldn’t be found, they immediately ordered us another one and gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The second one came and OMG.
