This could have been a wonderful 5-star review ... if only the fireplace worked. The mantel looks wonderful. I love my room with it in it. But this is supposed to be an electrical fireplace, not merely a piece of furniture. It's supposed to heat the room and to display a realistic looking flame. It did none of that when I got it. The remote doesn't work at all. And ever since it arrived, nearly a month ago, I've been trying to get someone to help me fix or replace this. After a few phone calls they promised to send a replacement for the firebox. But then I got an email saying the replacement was canceled. It turns out that was an error. I did get a package, but I had no idea what it was. No indication it came from Wayfair. It didn't look like the firebox. It was some sort of transformer/converter, with all print in Chinese, which I can't read. I finally spent an hour on the phone with a very nice lady at Wayfair, and we figured out that the transformer fixed part of the problem. I got heat! But the remote still doesn't work and I can't access most functions. And if I turn the heat on, I need to burn my fingers to turn it off on the fireplace without the remote. So I'm waiting for a new remote. To be continued ..... Monica. Cambria, CA. Sat Jan 31 2026

Absolutely adorable fireplace! I wanted an electric fireplace but the mantel box styles are too big and clunky. This is much more charming! I did not to permanently affix the stack plate to the wall so that I have the freedom to move it and store in another room it during summer months or add decoration on top. Puts out a great amount of heat too which was my primary reason for purchase as we needed some form of auxiliary heat. As far as faux flames go this truly is beautiful and doesnt give off "faux" or "cheap" whatsoever! BUY IT!. Ryanne. Yorktown, VA. Thu Oct 22 2026

The clean lines and understated style of the fireplace screen with doors complement any decor. Heavy-duty mesh safely contains sparks, while the design calls to mind tracery windows in gothic architecture. The two-door design makes fire tending easy and safe. Magnetic closures allow you to open the doors easily and keep doors safely closed for added peace of mind. The doors open wide to make your entire firebox accessible when adding logs or stoking the flames. Piano hinges on the doors offer full-length support and long-term alignment; adjustable back feet to fit any firebox and uneven hearths.

This fireplace features a high quality solid wood frame with a sturdy texture. Solid craftsmanship creates a solid and cozy tone for your home.

The fireplace is lovely. Perhaps I should have gone with the white in my space but it looks good nonetheless. I wish there was a crackling fire sound effect included for this price point. I’ll have to come up with my own system. It’s solid, my 20lb cat jumps to the mantle without shaking it. Last point the metal grille is painted to look “antiqued”. It makes it look a bit plastic, but it’s the details in the wood surround that really make the fireplace.. Ja. Seattle. Tue Mar 17 2026

Boasting an arts and crafts aesthetic, the Ghalib Cabinet Steel Fireplace Door is a beautiful, black, cabinet-style, one-piece frame. When installed, the fireplace glass door enhances the appearance of your family’s indoor, wood-burning, traditional masonry fireplace hearth. All Pleasant Hearth Fireplace Glass Door sets are designed for masonry fireplaces only and are not compatible with prefabricated fireplaces – see our Sizing Guide for more details. When it’s time to unwind from the day, this glass door set opens completely, providing a clear view of your burning fire. The smoked 3/16-in tempered glass doors must stay open while the fire is burning, and the built-in mesh firescreen panels act as a barrier to help contain embers. Both the glass doors and mesh panels have easy-catch magnets to help keep them closed. The glass doors can help you save energy year-round – when closed, they prevent AC and heat loss through the chimney by up to 90%. The hidden damper knob at the bottom of the firescreen provides additional airflow to feed the fire for bigger, longer-lasting flames. Closed fireplace glass door sets also prevent cold chimney downdrafts from entering your home and keep pets and children out of fireplace soot. These fireplace glass doors are surface mounted flat against the fireplace opening, allowing the doors to open fully to provide an incredible view of your fire from anywhere in the room. 28" H x 37.5" W x 0.95" D Small 37.5” W x 30” H * Fits Openings 30” W - 37” W X 22.5” H - 29.5” H 31" H x 37.5" W x 0.95" D Medium 37.5" W x 33” H * Fits Openings 30” W - 37” W X 25.5” H - 32.5” H 31" H x 43.5" W x 0.95" D Large 43.5" W x 33H” * Fits Openings 36” W - 43” W X 25.5” H - 32.5” H
