Clearly that would have been seen been seen at the factory BEFORE packaging and BEFORE Wayfair VERIFIED this item. Also there is some damage to the right side front base corner. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well. I really wanted to give this dresser 5 stars, but during the assembly it showed how this is not quite as solid wood as it seemed advertised. It is weighty and well made, but scuffs and dents super easily. I got the whiteish grey option. Assembly was easy to do on my own and parts lined up well.
