These are the perfect height for counters or a bar, it comes with an easy swivel that isnt hard to move but also not gonna move on its own. The cushion is my favorite part because its actually super comfy. One of the more comfortable ones I've sat in to be honest. Also the chairs are easy to assemble with clear instructions. These are great and very comfortable! If I had one criticism it would be to ignore the instructions when it says to tighten the legs to the foot rail to 100%. Definitely put all screws in (legs to seat and legs to foot rail) at 50%, then align and tighten the legs to the seat to 100% BEFORE you tighten the foot rail..otherwise you will not be able to align the chair legs in a way that minimizes the gaps between the parts, creating pinch points for fingers when scooting in your chair. I was looking for a lower profile stool that still had good back support and these were it! They are cushy and soft and supportive. They were the perfect color as well. My only wish is that they had foot rests on the sides as well, but that's because I'm used to that now. One cushion has a small gouge that would have split more as we sat on it, so I requested a replacement and Wayfiar was so quick to respond! We had a replacement within the week. I don’t think you’re gonna find a cooler barstool than these. Not to mention they’re extremely comfortable! I got the black seat with the gold stitched accent and the gold frame and they are gorgeous for our kitchen. They are stable and you do not have to worry about them holding up overtime as I feel they are very good quality. And I love all the options they offer for colors.
