These are nice sheets, they are definitely feeling as if they are 100 cotton. These are nice and lightweight sheets. They do seem a little in the thinthread bear side. Before I washed these sheets they felt softer. Almost like they might be a brushed cotton. Or Sateen. Now the sheets feel stiffer and crisp. Which isn’t a bad thing. The reviews were good, but the bed has exceeded all expectations. We are 51 and 43 years of age and weigh 300 LBS between us. Weve worked and played hard this life. We have slept on this mattress for over a week now and every single time, as my 220 lb, blue collar husband wakes up, he comments that was the best sleep ever. He has slept all over the country, in every kind of bed there is. He rarely gives a compliment, unless well deserved. We have owned 3 mattresses in 4 years. We will not be buying any other mattress anytime soon but you should, if you need better sleep and less numbess and pain. Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are.
