Beautiful Blanket, But Time Will Tell This is a really nice-looking blanket with a soft feel and a beautiful woven texture. The color is exactly what I was hoping for, and it looks great draped over my couch as both a functional throw and a decorative accent. My only concern is durability. Right out of the package, I’m already noticing some fuzzing/pilling, so I’m a little worried about how it will hold up after washing. I haven’t washed it yet, so I can’t speak to its long-term quality, but it does make me question whether it will wear well over time. Overall, it’s a nice blanket, but I’m not convinced it’s worth the premium price. At around $25–$30, I would think it’s an excellent value. I'm beyond pleased with this faux fur throw blanket! I've never been a fan of fur per se, preferring other textures, but this blanket has won me over. It's heavy, but still lofty if you sort of fluff it around you like a cocoon. The golden brown is so rich - it's a deep minky brown in the "undercoat" with golden brown and gray-brown on the ends of the fibers. The softness is absolutely dreamy. Update Removed 1 star after washing and drying. I wash all textiles before use due to chemicals. Washed in large fine mesh delicates bag on delicate cycle in cold water. Dried briefly in bag on low heat until damp dry, finished on patio folded in sunshine. Several small holes developed in weave and one on hem finishing. I love the blanket so much that I painstakingly stitched each hole and hope it will hold. But for the care I took with it, it shouldn’t have happed. Glamorous, gigantic and glamorous in Light Grey. I needed a color that would tone down the yellow in my buttercream velvet chair. When I opened the package, I was concerned because it seemed like it might be just a hint warm rather than cool.
