easy to put together. like many of the other reviews state, there is a little gap in the wood pieces. while it was very obvious when we were putting it together, I do not notice it now that it’s together and in use. we bought two chairs and one of them was quite uneven so we had to use several felt pads to level out chair. the other chair did not have this problem. overall, for the price, I am pleased.. These chairs are better than I ever expected. They are very comfortable and seem quite sturdy! The swivel is smooth and no sound. I am so glad that I purchased a Wayfair Verified item. I will from now on. Assembly, if you can call it that, was slipping the back in and putting on the back cushion. With opening the box, 5 minutes top! So easy!
