This bench was exactly what I was looking for. The color was as shown in the pictures. It is a beautiful, deep mahogany with no scratches, cracks or other issues. It is a good size for my entryway — not too big as to overpower the hall but big enough for two to sit comfortably. Very sturdy. I put it together on my own in less than two hours. We have a shoeless house so this small benchshoe organizer is perfect without being in the way. It would hold 8 pairs of my size 7 shoes or 6 of my BFs size 10.5. Only his flip flops will fit on top (my sneakers and low heels fit fine). High heels or don’t fit here and I doubt men’s size 11 or larger would fit. The cushion is loose and optional. We will likely add an adhesive if we don’t swap out. I addd contact paper inside to help with wear and tear. Love the deep rich navy color of this piece. It took me approximately 2 hours to assemble and it wasn’t too difficult to follow the directions. All the pieces were included and it was well packed. There was a slight imperfection on one of the drawers and the drawers don’t fit perfectly. That’s a little disappointing. We are very pleased with the bench. It is the perfect size and color that we needed and is just as described on the website. Assembly of the bench was fairly easy following the provided instructions. Was pleased that extra assembly parts were also provided, even though they ended up not being needed. There was only one step in the assembly process when having another set of hands was helpful.
