They don't describe the color in the description and when I zoomed in I thought they looked more burnished bronze. In person they are definitely copper like a penny. I just got the headboard and it is beautiful. We are very pleased with our order. We went with the open box option for the savings. I needed to make sure the headboard was free from defects and that all the hardware was there which it was. Looks very nice, just as pictured. Easy to assemble. The support legs that attach to the bedframe are solid and sturdy, but the headboard itself feels a little flimsy especially near the top.
