We've always had a cut tree for Xmas and it took a lot for me to grab onto the idea of NOT having a cut tree this year, but instead going with an artificial tree. As an Interior Designer, I've often sourced these product for my clients but never for one of my own. The "go-to" resource has always been Vickerman so when we finally decided it was time to switch to an artificial tree I naturally chose Vickerman. This is an absolutely gorgeous tree. We had a real tree that dried out super fast despite daily watering and I decided to purchase an unlit artificial tree so I could change up the lights from year to you. Being so close to Christmas, my options were limited and I didn’t want to spend a fortune. This was affordable and it’s realistic and simple enough to assemble. This tree is perfect! I wanted a smaller tree that I could easily assemble on my own. It is about my height 5'5", and I like that it is not pre-lit. I received the faux tree timely and packaged well. The tree comes with an attractive pot. The assembly is very simple and requires a bit of fluffing to get the shape you desire. The tree is pretty, but not quite perfect. I wasn’t expecting the “gold glitter” on the cashmere pine to look the way it does—the tips look like they were dipped in thick glitter, so it appears a bit clumpy and stuck together. It also made a huge glitter mess while fluffing. Still, once it’s set up, it looks nice enough that I’ve decided to keep it. Absolutely stunning tree. I had professional installation through Angi services. The tree came pre lit with each sections already wired. So the installer only had to piece together each section and plug in the main cord. I will say, the instructions did not include anything about the tree have a steelbraided cable and trim buckle system that attaches to the base via hooks. So that was a bit confusing. The actual pictures and instructions showed each section and how to piece together but nothing about the cable system that held the tree tight and upright. So I did take that off then realized my tree was swaying and figured out that was to help stabilize it so I had to hire additional help to comeback and reinstall the cable system on tree. Hence the lack of stars. It is very difficult to find a box to put the tree in after taking it down. So do consider that prior to purchasing 14’ tree. Overall the tree was beautiful. This is the most beautiful artificial Christmas tree we’ve ever had! I was a bit nervous about making such a large purchase online, as opposed to seeing it in person, but it was lovely - the lights were vibrant and plentiful, both multicolored and warm white, and it had a twinkling option as well. The branches held up well under some very heavy ornaments. What I loved most about it is that it was airy and had space between the branches, so ornaments were numerous and visible, yet it was lush and not the least bit sparse.
