Wonderful design - I love the shelves, and the shade gives lots of nice quality light. Assembly is very straightforward - the instructions explain things well, and there’s really no way to mess it up. However, the way some of the pieces fit together is just a bit off. I ordered two of these lamps, and on one the lampshade doesn’t sit straight no matter which way I turn it around and try to make it sit straight (see the close-up photo). On the other lamp, the lampshade sits perfectly (see the full-length photo) but some of the long pieces that connect between the shelves jut out a teensy bit further than they should (probably can’t tell in the photo, you have to look close to notice). This is a beautiful lamp but had to get a replacement as the first lamp received appeared to be a return and was damaged. Customer service was absolutely THE BEST and I received a new replacement lamp that I am, for the most part, very pleased with. Be very careful taking hinged lamp outs of the styrofoam packing as the two lamps can swing down and hit the metal - might be better to use 2 people to unpack as we did (the adjustment screws are not tightened down in the styrofoam packing). The only reason for the 4 star review is that even on the replacement lamp, the screws that tighten down the lamp position don't want to stay in position and I don't want to tighten too much because it can strip the screws.
