The KitchenAid® Artisan Plus Stand Mixer is built to handle a wide range of mixing tasks with precision and consistency, making it a reliable foundation for everyday cooking and baking. Designed to thoroughly incorporate ingredients, the beater reaches at least 59 touchpoints around the bowl, helping ensure even mixing whether you’re working with thick doughs or heavier batters. With 11 preset speeds and Precision Speed Control, you can quickly select a setting or smoothly transition between speeds to match the needs of each recipe. An integrated light automatically illuminates the bowl when the mixer is in use, while features like Soft Start help reduce splatter by gradually increasing speed. The included double flex edge beater continuously scrapes the sides of the bowl as it mixes, minimizing the need to stop and manually scrape ingredients. A full set of durable, stainless-steel accessories—including a precision-welded bowl, dough hook, wire whisk, and flat beater—supports a variety of techniques, from kneading to whipping. For more delicate recipes, a ½ fold speed allows you to gently combine ingredients without deflating them. Compatible with additional attachments sold separately, it offers room to expand into new recipes and techniques over time.

Purchased for myself during the Mother’s Day sale & I am SO glad I did! New features I love are: the bowl light-just a game changer! The half speed-the flour sifting attachment never looked so seductive & there is zero mess, even without the spatter cover. Speaking of which-I love how it now grips the bowl! It used to slide to the sides constantly & now you can hold the bowl upside down & it won’t come off. And the bowl! The handle is much more comfortable & sturdy, the brushed finish looks impressive & cleaner-the shiny silver showed every water mark & finger print. I was worried the stand mixer would be hard to clean in the Cast Iron finish but it’s just the opposite! My old Matte Black Artisan showed finger prints & oil much more easily! It doesn’t seem lighter than my regular Artisan was, & it’s still pretty loud all the way up, due to the more powerful motor. Also the cord isn’t very long but now comes with a cord keeper band-a nice touch. The new attachments are heavier duty, easier to clean & work well. The bowl cover (sold separately) fits this bowl also. I can’t wait to try the new 3-in-1 pasta attachment! 10/10! Well done, KitchenAid! Go ahead & get it-you deserve it!. Compulsive1. Make homemade bread, pizza dough, buns, and pastries easier with this 304 Stainless Steel Kitchen Stand Mixer. Designed with both kneading and fermentation functions, it helps complete dough preparation from mixing to proofing in one machine. The powerful motor kneads dough in as little as 15 minutes, while the hand-kneading simulation helps create better gluten development and a smoother, more elastic texture. With a large 7L / 6.6Qt capacity, stainless steel bowl, ingredient viewing window, and built-in temperature control, this dough mixer is a practical for families, baking lovers, and anyone who wants fresh dough without the arm workout.

The dough maker it's self seems to work very well. On a very stiff sourdough it did a surprisingly nice job! So it seems powerful enough on the first use. I also used the machine to control the temperature for the rise, which was one of the main factors in purchasing this unit. I gave the machine only 4 stars because the "instruction manual" is ridiculous. Obviously, a translation from another lanuguage into English! At one point both "kimono" and "hair" turn up in the manual! There are no instructions regarding normal ferment times and no way of customizing the setting for temperature. There is no website to download a better manual. I believe it will do the job I bought it for, but hope in the future to find one that gives me more choices and freedoms to customize my dough. For the reasonable price, it has earned space in my kitchen.. Jb. Scotsburn, NS. Sun Oct 04 2026

I really do like my Cuisinart Stand Mixer. It has plenty of power for the things I use a mixer for which is mostly cakes. I got a black quilted cover for the mixer to protect it from dust and keep its bowl clean. I had originally wondered how the Robins Egg Blue color would look in a stainless steel and black combo kitchen but it is beautiful. This mixer replaces my old Sunbeam twin beater mixer . I would say this mixer is an upgrade and is more powerful than my old mixer. Im well pleased.. Gary. Allen, TX. Sat Aug 29 2026
