We did order a pad to put under it to keep it from sliding around too much. There are little tufts of jute sticking up here and there but that may just be how jute is. Perfect rug for the space I wanted it for! After ordering and returning 3 rugs from a different company I decided to order this one from Wayfair. I’m so happy with the quality, design and weight of this rug, not too thick, not too thin, and it’s soft and it’s beautiful.
