Amazing bed!! Putting it together definitely requires two people but it has very straightforward instructions. At a 140lbs I was able to climb on it and the bed was extremely sturdy. The bed is beautiful and looks just like the pictures. It even came with foam extras to keep kiddos from getting bumps and lights which made a little party underneath and an app to control them!!! This was a great purchase! Not only is it well made, very sturdy and looks just like the pics, but my granddaughter loves it!! A piece to this bed broke the first week we had put it together. The piece where the child pulls on to get up the ladder is very flimsy and poorly designed. My husband tried to make a new piece 2x of the same part with no success, so finally just made a completely different design for that piece for the bed so it was much stronger to withhold the weight it needed to. Love the look of the bed, and easy to assemble. As long as your kids decide not to hang or climb the frame, you should be ok. The cutoff in the fabric is cool, but unsure how to secure it and have it stay in place without sewing additional ties/loops, or maybe velcro. To be fair, this could be caused by the way we attached the fabric, unsure. But the picture helps indicate that the flap doesn't reach, allowing it to sway. The lights add nice ambiance, but for us, because the bed is flush against the wall covering the outlet, a slim profile adapter that had the plug for the lights facing down would have been preferred. Also, I am unsure if there is a switch for the lights (couldn't find one), forcing you to unplug them each time. We chose to use an old external battery with an on/off button, but a smart plug would solve this issue. We purchased a Nectar children's mattress that fits perfectly. This ended up being one of those pieces that takes some patience to put together, but once finished, it really impressed me with the overall quality and sturdiness. The assembly definitely took some time and attention to detail. It took me 3-4 hour to fully complete, mostly because there are a lot of parts and the diagrams can take a little getting used to at first. One of the screws pictured in the instructions didn’t exactly match what came in the hardware bag, but thankfully the numbering system was accurate enough that I was still able to figure everything out without much trouble. My biggest recommendation is to organize all the pieces by their letter labels before starting. That alone will save a lot of time and frustration later. I’d also highly recommend using a drill with an Allen bit because doing everything by hand would take forever. Once I got into the rhythm of it though, the installation process became much smoother. What really stood out to me after it was finished was how sturdy and durable it feels. It does not feel flimsy or cheap once fully assembled. The materials feel solid, the design is unique, and it has a really nice look to it that stands out without being overly flashy. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t overwhelm the room, but it still offers a surprising amount of storage space. We’ve been using it for organizing toys, smaller household items, and general clutter, and it works great for keeping things looking neat and organized For the price, I honestly think it’s a good value considering the size, storage capacity, and how solid it feels once built.
