This carpet is just what I was looking for and looks great in our room. I wanted something that was a color similar to jute but without the shed and potential odor. This fit the bill as the color is lighter with a simple pattern to lighten up the space. The rug is thinner but thats not a problem since the furniture sits on it and it doesnt move around. One big thing to note is that this rug is not 8x10 like the description says but is actually 96x76. Not a problem for my room but might be for those thinking its actually 8x10. I love the rug! Upon unwrapping, the rug did definitely have a chemical smell that filled the room for the day. But that went away with time. There is also little to no cushioning of the fabric, it’s pretty hard but I don’t plan on sitting or kneeling on it that much so that’s a minor aspect.
