This balloon spinner is a beautiful addition to my outdoor décor, but there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The colors are vibrant during the day, but I’ve noticed that the orange spinner consistently illuminates darker than the purple and green ones (I own five total). I believe this is due to the deeper orange and purple tones. It's important to be aware of this if you order more than one color. One important detail Wayfair should mention is that this is an adjustable wind spinner. The pole comes in three screw‑together sections, allowing you to choose the full height or a shorter setup using only two sections. I wish I had known this earlier — I initially avoided these and bought the hanging balloon spinners instead because I thought the wind spinners came in only one height. I purchased two of these, and unfortunately, the batteries in both did not work. Be prepared to buy rechargeable replacements right away. I learned this the hard way after charging the original battery for eight hours and getting zero illumination that night. Lastly, this orange spinner is actually a replacement for the first one I received, which arrived with several cosmetic issues such as chipped and missing paint. It looked like an open‑box return, even though I paid full price. Wayfair really needs stronger quality control. I’d hate for the item I returned to be sent to someone else and cause the same disappointment.. Deanna. Wisconsin. Mon Jun 15 2026

This handcrafted steel bell has a contemporary charm and a great tone. This handcrafted, wind-activated bell, with its bold tone and design, functions nicely as a welcome bell at any entrance to your home or garden. They tone their bells to unite two important ways the instrument vibrates. One is the sound of the bell itself and the other is the hollow chamber inside the bell that acts like an organ pipe. The slots on the sides of the bell are the secret to this unique coupling. The result is a rich sound with much depth and beauty. This steel ball has been coated with a handsome, durable finish, so you can enjoy it for years to come. Hang your Heroic Large Wind Chime in a breezy spot and let it play in the wind.

The Heroic Windbell™ Wind Chime is a very nice chime. Made with quality metal material and the sound of the chime is beautiful. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is extremely heavy. I bought it to hang on a shepards hook by our pool but it is way too heavy. We will need to get a strong mounted hook to support its weight. Overall very happy because it is a uniquie item.. Bonny. Tuned to beautiful melodies and scales from around the world and available in a wide range of styles, songs, and sizes, you can choose the Woodstock Chime that speaks to your soul. HOW IT ALL BEGAN. In 1979, the first Woodstock Chime was created by Grammy award-winning musician Garry Kvistad from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. As a professional musician and instrument designer, he was fascinated by the Scales of Olympus, a 7th-century pentatonic scale that can't be played on a modern piano. Garry had the idea to cut and tune the lawn chair chime tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The resulting Chimes of Olympus was the first Woodstock Chimes Wind Chimes and is still one of our bestselling wind chimes. Garry and his wife Diane founded Woodstock Chimes in 1979 and it remains based in New York's Hudson Valley.

This Provence Wind Chime is tuned to the lovely scale from Erik Satie's Gnossienne, written in 1890. An eccentric French composer, Satie, and his music had a significant influence on fellow impressionists Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel. Many of the great impressionist painters of the 19th-century artists such as Renoir, Zanne, and Matisse created some of their most celebrated works in Provence, the region in southern France known for delighting the senses. It was here that Van Gogh produced his famous still lifes with sunflowers in 1888-1889. The extraordinary landscapes in Provence, infused with the scent of lavender and rosemary, and its delicious cuisine leave a lasting impression as will their Provence Wind Chime. Just as the landscapes of Provence inspired some of the world's greatest impressionist painters, they have inspired us, as well. This wind chime reflects the color and tone of the French countryside, right down to the sunflower image burned into the wood of the windcatcher.
