Great investment in protecting my flock of ducks from nocturnal predators. I installed the XL Animal Barrier around my walk-in duck cage about 1 year ago. So far theres been no successful nocturnal predator intrusions. Very heavy duty and I was able to push the long tines through my hardware cloth ground barrier (apron). Definitely a good investment.. This is Lupita, an escape artist disguised as a spunky mini schnauzer. She had managed to wedge her way out of any tiny gap in our fence. Long story short, we ended up replacing an entire back fence to keep her in our yard....which didn’t work! She managed to wedge through the new fence. Our fence was lined with rocks and stones in an attempt to keep her in but she still dug around them UNTIL...my husband found this!!!! I hammered them in to all of the areas she was wedging through and she has not gotten out of our yard since! Simply amazing! I would definitely recommend it. We had a lot of barriers left over, but will be using them on other yards where she spends time, like my in-laws yard. They are barely visible so the yard looks nice...all rocks and stone are now gone!. Lissett. Benbrook, TX. Thu Nov 19 2020

Dalen Plastic Barrier Garden Fencing is a 3 ft. x 50 ft. roll of lightweight, weather-resistant plastic mesh designed as a temporary or seasonal garden barrier. Use it to keep dogs, rabbits, and small animals out of garden beds, define landscaping borders, or protect new plantings — then roll it up and reuse it season after season. The recyclable, heat-resistant material holds its shape in sun and cold and installs in minutes with garden stakes — no special tools required.

I have extremely hungry deer who are not picky unfortunately! The only truly effective measure is to wrap my precious trees and plants! Thank God there are some they dislike! I am not always home to sprinkle powder or spray deer repellent which are both effective. I bought ultrasonic lights were effective at first then the deer ignored them. The skunks did not appreciate my efforts though so I had to stop using! I avoided mesh because obvious reasons but it's the only sure proof method for me. This is the second type of mesh I've used. The first was more nylon type material and was a bit challenging to work with but super flexible. I wanted this type again but was unavailable so I went with a different one. This second mesh is stiffer and more of a wire consistency but cuts easily with scissors. I would say it is more for use with stakes. The major problem I had was wrapping things too tightly so be aware it's so easy to do and then it must be loosened. Also, the first nylon mesh catches on itself so unwrapping and rewrapping is almost impossible!. Jeanie. Cambridge, OH. Sat Jun 27 2026

Great little fence panel set! I am using it to fence off sections of my lawn that need reseeding. Very easy to set up right out of the box, even for a mechanically challenged middle-aged lady like me. Just line up the holes in the panels, place the metal stake through the holes and use a rubber mallet to get them into the ground.
