This came well packaged in a single box. I was able to assemble the few parts before my electrician came to install it. If you are handy, this is an easy one to put together and install. This chandelier makes an industrial statement with a unique twist from the glass panel shades. It arrived in flimsy packaging and one of the glass panels was broken. Also the gold metal pieces that hold the glass panel shades had to be adjusted to make the shades look straight. Wayfair has an excellent policy and customer service, tho, and we received a replacement the next day or two. We picked up bulbs from a local hardware store. These are 40 watt equivalent (4 watt) clear glass bulbs. We wanted and tried frosted bulbs, but only found 60 watt equivalent (5.5 watt).
