I really do like my Cuisinart Stand Mixer. It has plenty of power for the things I use a mixer for which is mostly cakes. I got a black quilted cover for the mixer to protect it from dust and keep its bowl clean. I had originally wondered how the Robins Egg Blue color would look in a stainless steel and black combo kitchen but it is beautiful. This mixer replaces my old Sunbeam twin beater mixer . First issue is the cooktop sound is much louder with use than my previous Bosch cooktop. Secondly it has a great panel for the oven however it is either too sensitive or placed in a position that is too easily turned on when using the cooktop. Love the oven control choices and the large area you get with the stovetop grates. Only things to criticize is that the timer beeper is way too faint to hear it (need to use a kitchen timer), and that with the large grate layout the burners were not spaced farther apart to take better advantage for large pots. Also loooooove the color options on these mixers, I got the buttery yellow one and it is so gorgeous in my home. My only issue has been with the standard attachments that come with it— I do not like that they are powder coated— the paint chips and flakes off over time and to me that’s not good because I don’t want paint chips in my food.
