We've had this tub for about 2 years now and I couldn't be happier with it. I wanted a soaking tub that I could relax in and would fit my space. This fit the bill. My husband installed it with his brother and it took about 5-6 hours in total and one trip to get a part. No issues at all with the tub. It came in perfect condition and I use it at least twice a week. Incredibly happy with this unit.. Anonymous. Fri May 29 2026

Valley acrylic multi-layered shower bases are made with a proprietary process that ensures the product is stronger and more durable than other products on the market. Each shower base has a thick layer of hi-gloss acrylic that is non-porous, attractive, and resists mold and mildew growth making the valley product hygienic and perfect for your home. The acrylic surface sheet is reinforced with a proprietary resin material that is covered by a layer of Canadian wood and another layer of proprietary resin material to reinforce the base and eliminate the flexing experienced in other products. There are many inexpensive upgrades you can change in your bathroom later, but you want to put the very best shower base or tub in your bath to ensure no leaks and save the expense of having to replace the unit later. Valley acrylic provides the very best tubs and shower bases in the market. The single threshold shower base is used with three walls with an open front for a shower door or curtain. The threshold is 3" wide and 4" tall to allow for a standard shower door installation and tall enough to work well with a shower curtain. The valley acrylic shower bases have a tall and strong tile flange around each wall side to allow for the extra overhang of the wallboard to ensure a leak-free installation. This fantastic eco-friendly shower base includes a slip-resistant floor for added safety and a convenient offset right linear drain with a matching cover that accepts a standard 3.25" shower drain. The offset drain allows for the easy replacement of a bathtub with this shower base without having to move the drain to the center of the shower base. The linear drain design provides an attractive matching cover to conceal the drain unit providing a clean and uninterrupted appearance of the shower. The Aspirations 60-in. Alcove Bathtub from American Standard offers a clean, minimalist look to complement the Aspirations collection. Spacious interior is enhanced with lumbar support for maximized back comfort, and accommodates an optional headrest pillow, sold separately, for added relaxation. Durable, high-quality acrylic inhibits mildew buildup for easy cleaning, and features a textured floor to help prevent slipping.

Fantastic tub! It took me a LONG time to find this one. Only 2 inches taller than the old tub (no tripping hazard!) but just over 4 inches more soak depth (yes, please!). Simple, clean lines. It's narrower than my old tub, but allows for my legs to be stretched straight while leaning against the back (32" inseam). I did take some advice I'd found online and from friends of putting some insulation batting in the long side with the drop front on it. The other long side faces the outside wall, so that has exterior rated insulation already. Helps the water stay hotter, longer. Great tub!. Domesticgoddessco. Denver, CO. Thu Aug 15 2024
